Make Co-Teaching Actually Work
If co-teaching has turned into unclear roles, rushed planning, or “divide and survive,” you're not alone.
In this practical three-session virtual series, you’ll learn simple ways to plan together, share instruction, and use co-teaching models that support all students, even when time and resources are limited.
May 20th • May 27th • June 3rd
Based on the practical strategies from 30 Days to the Co-Taught Classroom
Does This Sound Familiar?
✔ You and your co-teacher care about students but aren’t always sure who should be doing what during instruction.
✔ Planning together sounds great in theory… but in reality there’s barely time to plan on your own.
✔ Co-teaching sometimes turns into “one person teaches while the other supports.”
✔ You support multiple classrooms (itinerant, SLP, OT, etc.) and struggle to find time to collaborate with each team.
✔ Small-group instruction feels like it should be possible with two adults, but it rarely happens consistently.
✔ You’ve heard about different co-teaching models, but you’re not sure which ones actually work in real classrooms.
✔ You want co-teaching to increase access and learning for students with disabilities, but right now it feels harder than it should.
✔ You’re a paraprofessional or teaching assistant and aren’t always sure how to actively support instruction.
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and the good news is that co-teaching can work far better than it often does.
