Punitive Discipline Is Burning Out Your Teachers. And It's Not Working for Students Either.

Teachers are doing their best with a model that was never designed to actually work. Detentions, behavior charts, suspensions, removal — they manage the moment and create the next crisis.

Behavior 360 gives your entire team a different way. Brain-based, compassionate, and practical enough to use in the hardest moments — with the most challenging students.

Built for PreK–12 educators, paraprofessionals, and school leaders — general ed, special ed, and everyone in between.

Behavior

Created by Dr. Julie Causton & Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak — 50+ years of combined experience, authors of a dozen books, and the leading voices in inclusive behavior support.

A different approach

Behavior Is Communication.

Not Defiance.

Every behavior is a student telling you something. Behavior 360 teaches your team to hear it — and respond in a way that actually helps.

That means understanding the brain science behind behavior, building real skills for the hardest moments, and creating classrooms where students feel safe enough to learn.

Behavior 360 guides your team through three shifts:

  • From compliance to connection — understanding why punitive approaches backfire
  • From reaction to readiness — building skills for the moment behavior escalates
  • From crisis to calm — creating classrooms where students feel safe, seen, and supported

What Your School Looks Like After Behavior 360

  • Teachers who respond with skill instead of bracing for impact
  • Students who learn to regulate — and come back to learning faster
  • Families who trust that their child is safe and supported

And if nothing changes?

  • More teachers burning out and leaving
  • More students missing learning because behavior wasn't understood
  • More families losing trust in what school can do for their child

The good news: this is fixable. And Behavior 360 is how.

Who built this

Built by the Leading Voices in Inclusive Behavior Support

Dr. Julie Causton and Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak have spent 50+ years combined working alongside schools — coaching teachers, training leaders, and building inclusive systems that actually work.

They've authored more than a dozen books, trained tens of thousands of educators, and presented on the world's biggest education stages. Their view is simple: behavior is best understood through the lens of brain science and human connection — not compliance and punishment.

Behavior 360 is where everything they've learned becomes available to your team.

  • 50+ years of combined experience
  • 12+ books authored
  • Tens of thousands of educators trained
  • Schools across the U.S. and around the world

When Julie and Kristie say something works,
it's because they've spent careers proving it.

The choice is yours: keep managing crisis after crisis, or finally adopt an approach that creates lasting change.

What Educators Are Saying

“I’m OBSESSED. I keep taking pictures and sending them to my behavior specialist and my building principals. I can’t wait to turn it over to staff—it’s so good, validating, and helps with my own growth mindset. SO GOOD.”

“This is the first behavior PD that actually reflects our values
—and still gives our team exceptional tools to use in the moment.”

“We finally feel prepared to handle big behaviors without sending kids out.”

“Behavior 360 gave our team a common language and strategies we can all use.”

As international speakers and authors who have trained educators in districts across the U.S. and around the world, we’ve seen this model succeed in every type of school setting. Behavior 360 distills those proven strategies into a format your team can immediately apply.

FAQs

If we’re already using the Pyramid Model or PBIS, why would we need Behavior 360?

The Pyramid Model and PBIS provide the framework. Behavior 360 helps adults apply those frameworks in real time—especially during moments of escalation.

Behavior 360 strengthens adult understanding of behavior as communication, builds de-escalation and co-regulation skills, and reduces reliance on removal, rewards, or compliance-based responses. It works alongside Pyramid and PBIS by supporting the how, not replacing the what.
