Estimated Timeline

  • Now and through the month of February – form workgroup
  • Early March – identify process for soliciting feedback from the field
  • Mid-March through April – solicit feedback and resources from the field
  • May – review feedback and outline scope of writing tasks and write initial drafts
  • Mid-June – 1st draft of paper due
  • Late June through early July – seek input from editors and members
  • Late July – write a revised draft
  • August – initial draft sent to members for full review (minimum of 3 weeks)
  • September – revise final paper and submit to the Executive Office and Board
  • October – share at the DEC conference
