Why Get the SLI District-Wide License?
If you want to create and sustain inclusive educational change, EVERYONE in your school system needs to deeply understand what inclusive education is; why inclusive education is needed given the research, ethical and moral implications, and legal precedents; and how to create inclusive schools.
With a Summer Leadership Institute district-wide license, you get up to 12 seats for your district’s key change-makers to engage in three days of powerful learning from global inclusion experts, changemakers, and advocates. After the event, every single person in your school system immediately has access to recorded content, handouts, and solutions.
This means ALL of your teachers get to learn together as they become more knowledgeable, informed, clear, and inspired about how to reach and teach ALL students.
Your district-wide license will help everyone learn HOW and WHY we must work to dismantle outdated special education policies and practices. For example, transforming your system and creating inclusive educational opportunities for every single student means we no longer use a “continuum of services” to justify segregating students in autism specific programs, having life skills classes at the High School, placing children with “high” support needs all in the same class, and/or creating classrooms just for children with behaviors that are challenging. Leaders like you, are being asked to create inclusive educational opportunities for every single student, and to get rid of harmful and outdated practices such as these.
The SLI district-wide license will help you transform your school by providing critical professional development and solutions to your biggest challenges. Through inspiring and practical live sessions, on-demand video presentations, recorded workshops and panels, and just in time podcasts, blogs, and handouts, you and everyone in your district will receive hundreds and hundreds of strategies you can put into practice immediately.

Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak
A highly sought-after speaker, accomplished author, and educators’ educator. Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak began her career as an early interventionist and then spent 16 years as a tenured professor at Kent State University. Since 2013 she has followed her true passion for designing and delivering transformative professional development. As a result, she has accumulated over 50,000 hours of helping educators and leaders work from a place of compassion, hope, and love in locations from Cincinnati to Singapore.
Dr. Julie Causton
A best selling author, inspiring speaker, and inclusion advocate, Dr. Julie Causton began her career as an educator and then 14 years as a tenured professor at Syracuse University. In 2012 she founded Inclusive Schooling, a premiere company solely devoted to delivering professional development which transforms schools and lives. She has spent the past 25 years nearly obsessed with discovering innovative practices and teaching others about inclusive education through her wildly engaging presentations.
